4Precautions

1) Since LED and CMOS integrated circuits are electrostatic sensitive devices, it is necessary to pay attention to prevent static electricity when using LED unit boards. Take the following measures to effectively prevent static electricity:

Ø Persons touching the product must wear a grounded electrostatic wristband or electrostatic gloves;

Ø Switching power supply housing, box, screen and so on are strictly grounded;

Ø Various tools must be grounded strictly during assembly;

 

2When cleaning the surface of the LED unit board, do not use unknown chemical liquid to avoid damaging or corroding the LED. You can use a clean soft rag to soak in clean water and wipe gently. There should be no water marks after wiping. Use after drying.

3 When repairing the LED unit board, the unit board must be powered off before welding. It is recommended to use a constant temperature electric soldering iron. The temperature of the electric soldering iron is adjusted according to the composition of the tin wire:

Ø When repairing the dot matrix module, the temperature of the electric soldering iron must be maintained at about 260 ° C, the soldering time cannot exceed 5S, and the number of soldering times cannot exceed three times;

Ø When soldering CMOS devices, the temperature of the electric soldering iron must be kept below 315 ° C, the soldering time cannot exceed 3s, and the number of soldering times cannot exceed three times;

4 In order to ensure the stability and service life of the LED, the surface temperature of the unit board during operation cannot exceed 60 ° C, and the storage temperature cannot exceed 40 ° C, otherwise necessary cooling measures must be taken;

5In order to prevent the life of the unit board or burn the unit board due to improper use of the power supply, the power supply of the LED unit board should strictly observe the following precautions:

Ø Use a dedicated switching power supply for the LED display. The unit board uses DC 5.0V input and must not be directly connected to 220V, otherwise the whole unit board will be burned;

Ø When installing the LED unit board, please pay attention to the correct wiring of the power port, which must correspond to the positive and negative poles; if the positive and negative poles are reversed, power off in time to avoid damage to the components;

Ø The working voltage of the unit board should not exceed its maximum allowable working voltage of 5.5V;

6When installing the unit board, the torque should be less than 1.0Nm.

7During use and transportation, do not drop, push, squeeze, or press the unit board to avoid damage to the unit board.
